Insight Counseling Services

Courtney Faraday, MA, LLC

Courtney Faraday is a Limited Licensed Counselor who earned her Master

of Arts in Counseling from Siena Heights University. She works with

individuals and couples navigating anxiety, depression, grief and loss,

trauma, self-esteem challenges, and relationship concerns.

Courtney takes an integrative and personalized approach to therapy, drawing

from a range of evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral

Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, mindfulness practices, self-talk

work, and Relational Life Therapy (RLT)—one of her preferred approaches.

Her work is grounded in helping clients develop insight, take meaningful

accountability, and create lasting, healthy change in both their internal world

and relationships.

She has a strong passion for working with couples and is dedicated to helping partners build healthier, more connected relationships. Courtney focuses on strengthening communication, rebuilding trust, and addressing patterns that leave couples feeling stuck or disconnected. Her style is warm, direct, and compassionate, creating a space where clients feel supported while also gently challenged to grow.

Before entering the counseling profession, Courtney founded a nonprofit organization serving women and children in crisis, which she has led for over 13 years. Her work with homeless youth, inner-city communities, and survivors of human trafficking deeply shaped her commitment to the field of mental health and her desire to walk alongside individuals in their healing process.

Courtney believes that trust is built through consistency and strives to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients can experience genuine healing and movement toward wholeness.

Outside of her clinical work, Courtney is actively involved in her community through outreach, local churches, and youth sports. She has been married since 2002 and is a mother of two. In her free time, she enjoys running, hiking, and spending time with her family.
